Currently there is no effective adjuvant chemotherapy or protocol to treat adrenal cortical cancer (ACC).  Yes, ACC patients benefit from the research from "major cancers" but specific adrenal cancer research would improve the current barbaric treatments and protocols.

Drug companies refuse to increase research of rare cancers such as ACC because of the small population diagnosed (about 1 in 2 million, or 450 people per year).  This is unacceptable and should not have to be the case.

I support increased funding for research for this rare and lethal cancer.
